*All nozzle bodies are mounted on swivels.*
Benefit:
Different spray tips require different angles of orientation to the target. Without having to remove and reposition the entire nozzle on the boom, one can then point flat spray tips straight down, or cone and flood tips 45 degrees from vertical to the target in a matter of seconds."
Benefit:
When pointed straight up, the Blumhardt nozzle body allows caps and tips to be changed without chemical leaking on the operator or the ground, thus improving safety.
Benefit:
If the nozzle hits an obstruction, the nozzle simply rotates back on the swivel, preventing the nozzle from breaking like competitive, conventional systems' nozzles.

*Blumhardt's nozzle caps feature a twist-lock design.*
Benefit: the grooved caps fit locating lugs on the nozzle body, allowing for easy and quick attachment and removal of the cap from the nozzle.

Blumhardt II Nozzle Assembly

Blumhardt Equipment has made a dramatic change in the design of their nozzle assembly. Called the "Blumhardt II Nozzle Assembly", it features a new style shut-off which has been incorporated into the spray nozzle itself. With the use of a larger shut-off valve the chance of the spray nozzle dripping after being turned off has been eliminated. The nice thing about the change is that spray characteristics, such as spray pressures and spray patterns, have not changed. The new style Blumhardt II Nozzle Assembly works just the same as the old style. Both styles are still available and both feature twist lock spray caps for quick tip changing and swivel mounts for precise aiming of the spray nozzle for unbeatable coverage. Click on the above "cone tips" and "nozzle assemblies" to see the different styles available.
