Like band spraying, Drop Nozzles can be used to apply pesticide directly in a band either over the row, at the base of the plant from between the row, or both. Unlike band spraying, thought, these drops are usually used for post emergent spraying. For example: Spraying Banvel for broadleaves in corn, or Pursuit in soybeans. All Blumhardt Equipment Drop Nozzle Assemblies quickly attach to Blumhardt Equipment Nozzle Assemblies using our unique Twist Lock elbows and caps. Blumhardt Equipment Twist Lock Caps will accept many different types of spray tips ranging from flat fan and flood tips to hollow cone tips.

Example: A 15" band of chemical can be applied with drops either on the sides of the plant, or with an additional nozzle or drop nozzle above the plant.
