These kits mount behind virtually any planter. A "universal" bracket #44614 utilizes a set screw to mount to the iron which holds the packer wheel, or in some cases, such as John Deere the packer wheels. The nozzle mounting bracket #44509 then mounts to that bracket and can swivel to obtain a wide range of nozzle heights.
   Band width is adjusted by varying the nozzle height. The nozzle bracket allows the 1/4" nozzle tubing to run through it to protect tubing from snagging on stubble, etc. Adjusting the nozzle angle can further be used to vary band width as well as direct spray away from the planter.
   These brackets are often used as a broadcast kit for behind the planter. Simply raise the nozzle and use broadcast tips (flood tips for example), and the spray can cover the entire area behind the planter.
   These kits include all the plumbing, mounting hardware, and brackets to mount to the planter. The nozzles are fed from a 1/4" ID tubing from a six outlet manifold head, which is fed from an 11/16" feedline. Five sets of cone tips are also included for obtaining various band application rates.

Blumhardt Equipment Twist Lock Caps    Blumhardt Equipment Twist Lock Caps will easily accept most spray tip manufacturer's sprays tips, including flat fan, flood, hollow cone and full cone or off-center tips. Self-aligning spray caps automatically line up slightly off-center so spray patterns do not hit eachother. Both styles of Blumhardt Equipment Twist Lock Caps feature line up grooves for easy on-off use witht he nozzle assembly.
